Swim Lessons

Makayla finished swim lessons last week. She loved it. She learned how to float on her back on front, and go under the water without plugging her nose. I think her favorite part was diving for the rings.

The Dinosaur Park

Ryan got home from work early so we decided to go the Dinosaur Park. I have a pass that gets us in for free. So it's fun to just go and do whatever the kids want to do because we can go anytime we want. Evan took this picture of Makayla while she was swinging.

Inside the Museum there are some dinosaurs that look real and move and make noise. Evan is a little scared of them. So he plugged his ears so he couldn't hear them.

The Treehouse

Last Friday we went to the Treehouse with my sisters, Tenille and Misty. The kids had so much fun together. There favorite thing to do was put on a play for us to watch. They have great imaginations!!!

Solid Foods!

Tyson has just discovered that he likes solid foods. I have been trying to give him solids for the past couple of weeks and he wasn't quite sure of them. Yesterday we bought some baby banana food and he loved it. He ate the whole jar. Then at dinner he opened his mouth for some of my food. So I got out some sweet potatoes and he ate them right up and loved every bite! It's so fun to watch him discover new things.

Cheerleader Makayla!!!:)

Makayla was in a cheer clinic for Sunset Jr. High last week and got to be the the West Weber day's parade and dance in the park. She had so much fun and did such a good job! She is so fun to watch. She gets out there and acts like she's the star of the show! She is OUR star!:)

Tyson is 5 months old!

I really can't believe how fast Tyson is growing! It really kinda makes me sad. Tyson is definitely a mommies boy. But he is with me all day long and I feed him and change his diapers so I can really see why. But he definitely loves his daddy too. He smiles and kicks his legs when Ryan gets home. Ryan is so cute with him he loves to make Tyson laugh! Tyson loves his feet he usually always has one in his hands. He even puts his big toe in his mouth and sucks on it. He is grabbing at everything. He loves to pull Makayla's hair! He is rolling over from his tummy to his back and from his back to his tummy. We are starting to give him solids but his just not quite sure of it. He only eats it when I'm not home. He will not drink formula, so it makes it really hard to leave him anywhere. Ryan has to bring him to my work so that I can feed him. Tyson you are such a cute little chub! I love your chubby little cheeks. I just want to eat them up! You are such a happy little boy. I love your cheesy little smile. We love you so much! You are our little chub-a-lubba!!! So I just had to add that Tyson just got his 1st TOOTH!!! He was biting on my finger while we were eating dinner and it hurt, so I looked in his mouth and sure enough a little tooth has broke through. Holy CRAP!!!!

Browne Lake

Every year Ryan's family goes to Browne Lake in the Unitas. It is so fun and relaxing! Aunt Shawnee with Makayla and Evan on her 4-wheeler. She took all the kids on a LOT of rides! She is so cute and good with the kids. Makayla and Evan love her to death.

Aunt Shawnee put together a little play with the girls. They acted out all the things they did while camping. They rode bikes, rode the 4-wheeler, went on the paddle boats fishing, walked down to the little creek and waded in it. They made crowns and put little wooden flowers that Grandpa Evans made them and they each had flower names. It was really cute.
