My Whole Wheat Bread

Misty and I took a class on how to make bread a couple of months ago. I bought a mixer and a wheat grinder and have been trying to get it just right. Well this Saturday I think I came pretty close. It looked pretty good and tasted good too! The best part is that I learned how to use the wheat I have in my food storage. And my family likes the bread. I haven't bought bread from the store for a few months. It's kinda nice!

The Boys

Evan got this football uniform for his birthday and loves it. The funny part is that it's the Denver Broncos and Ryan is so not a Broncos fan. But Evan doesn't really care he just loves to play football.

Ryan went to Cabelas with the guys and the only thing that he bought was this camo binki for Tyson. He was so excited to give it to him. It's not the same kind of binki that Tyson is use to, so it was really funny to watch him try and suck on it. He mainly just plays with it, he's not really into sucking on it. He is such a cutie!!! Ok so Makayla and Evan are scared to death of DOGS! They totally freak out when they see one even if it's a mile away and on a leash. This is my sister Michelle's dog Keeno. Tyson was loving him. He would put his hands in his mouth and pull his hair and just laugh. It was so cute. The only problem was, every time we tried to take his picture he would just look at us like this...

Ward Campout

Our ward campout was a couple weeks ago. It was a little later than normal this year and a little colder. But we still had lots of fun! It was a really pretty drive up the Ogden canyon all the leaves are changing colors, it was pretty amazing. We camped by our friends and the kids had a blast together! Here is Evan and Jake.

Ryan brought tons of firewood and we stayed up and talked around the fire. It was fun getting to know everyone better.

Our Anniversary

Are anniversary is September 20th and we will have been married for 7 years. I posted some of my favorite pictures of our perfect day. I can't believe that it's been 7 years and that we have 3 kids!!! Ryan is a great husband and father. Thanks babe for all you do for us!

Jr. Drill Team

Makayla and her cousin Raygan did the Jr. Drill Team at Fremont High School. They had 3 days of clinics and then got to dance at the half time of the football game. Makayla had so much fun! She loves to dance and perform. I don't think she ever gets nervous she just loves to go out and do her thing. This morning she told me that she had a dream that she was out on the football field dancing again. Look how cute Tyson is. Ryan hates it when I take his picutres. You can totally tell how he feels about it by the look on his face.

The Latest in Makayla's Life

While we were going through everything under the crawl space Makayla found lots of stuff to dress up in. She was taking pretend pictures with this camera, and saying that she was going to blog them. (oh wait do I blog to much is that where she gets that from....) Makayla started soccer this month. She loves it!!! Her Aunt Ronda is the couch and her cousin Raygan is on her team too. Her last soccer game she made 4 goals in a row!!!

A No Good, Bad, Horrible Day:(

Our basement flooded last Wednesday. Ryan woke up to go to work at 3:30 in the morning and heard the sump pump going. It sounded wierd to him so he went downstairs to check it out. That's when he stepped into wet carpet! I was half asleep in bed and heard some not so good words flying out of Ryans mouth. So I jumped out of bed to see what was wrong. I was in total shock! It honetly made me sick to my stomach. The sump pump hose flipped out somehow and was pumping water into our basement instead of into the bucket. Anyways, Ryan had to make a run to WalMart to get a shop vac and a fan because we had nothing to get the water out. I called my mom and dad at 3:30 AM and they both came to help us out. I honestly have amazing parents! Thanks Mom and Dad!!! It was the biggest mess. My mom and I got everything out of the crawl space and put it in the garage. I didn't realized I was storing so much junk. It was a good way of cleaning everything out. Just not under good circumstances. We had to rip of the carpet and put fans in the house to get everything dried out. Nothing was damaged it was just a HUGE mess!

6 Months Old:)

Our little chub-a-lub is 6 months old!!! He just started sitting up on his own. YEAH!!!! He is getting so big. I love the way his face lights up when I go and get him out of his crib in the morning. Sometimes he will put his little hands up by my neck and put his sweet little mouth on my face and give me loves. I love his soft little chubby cheeks I seriously just want to eat them right up! He just figured out that he can control his hands. He will sit and watch his hands and fingers move and touch his hands together. He is so amazed by it. Today Ryan and I were waving at him and he was moving his hand back and forth. What a smart little guy! I love every single second with him. Even the feedings during the night...oh precious times. We love you Tys!!!

Makayla and Evan's First Day of School

Makayla started kindergarten today!!! She was so excited to start school and wear her new school clothes. She had her outfit all picked out and ready to go. She learned about the book The Kissing Hand and talked about how they felt on the first day of school. It's crazy she will be gone everyday now. We sure are proud of you Makayla! Evan started preschool today at Appleseed Academy. I was a little nervous because at the back to school night he cried and didn't want to go in or color the little monkey or talk to teacher Misty. I thought for sure he would be running back up the stairs after me. But he surprised me and went right down and loved every minute of it. When preschool was over he came running for me with a big smile! He told me "I was so good for Teacher Misty!" I am so proud of him!!!
