St. Patricks Day
Lovin the Warm Weather!
Birthday Party!

Last Sunday we had a birthday party for Adyson, Broc and Landon. Broc and Landon were born on the same day. Adyson really wanted to have a pajama party so that's what we did! Misty and Tenille did a great job! We all came in our pj's and had breakfast for dinner, it was really yummy! Then we played games. They all brought a stuffed animal. So they put every one's animal in a pile and blindfolded them. Then they had to pick out there animal! Then Misty wrapped a jar of jelly beans like 10 times. They played music and passed around the present, when the music stopped the person holding the present got to unwrap a layer. When it was all unwrapped everyone took guesses on how many jelly beans were in the jar. Ryan won! I think there like 535 or something like that. We had a GREAT time!!!

The Fire Station

Evan had a field trip to the fire station with his preschool class. He was really worried about going to the fire station. He didn't want to go. When I asked him what he was scared of he said he didn't like the horns and sirens! I guess a lot of the kids in his class didn't like them either so Teacher Misty asked the fire men not to turn on the sirens or honk the horns. He was fine after that and had lots of fun at the fire station. The week before they go to the fire station they talk about fire safetly. They also talk about what they would do in a emergency. Evan learned his phone number and address, our safe spot outside and about stanger danger. After we were done talking about all of it, he told me that he was mad at me. (He says that when he is upset about something.) He was really worried about having a fire in our house. He really didn't want our house to catch on fire. I felt so bad. I told him that I didn't want our house to catch on fire either and that we would do everything we could so that our house doesn't catch on fire, but we just need to know what to do just in case.

Tyson is ONE!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYSON WE SURE DO LOVE YOU!!!
Makayla gave Tyson this sucker for his birthday. As you can tell he is enjoying it! This was right after breakfast, he started out early with the sweets!:)
We sang Happy Birthday to Tyson all day long and when we were through singing he would clap his hands. It was so cute! When everyone came over for his birthday party and we all (close to 25 people) sang to him he wasn't sure what to think. He just stared at everyone with a blank face and didn't know what he was suppose to do. Makayla blew out the candle for him. He still isn't walking. He pulls himself up to just about everything and will walk along the furniture but still prefers to crawl. He loves to talk and tell you what he thinks, especially when he is mad! I love all of his babbling!!! He still gives some pretty mean faces! He won't eat from a spoon anymore. He has to feed himself. He likes to hold the spoon and put the food in his mouth with the other hand. It's been a little bit of a challenge trying to think of things he can feed himself. The last couple of days have been so warm and we have been able to go outside. He has been loving it!!!! I am so excited for it to warm up!
The Party!
For Makayla and Evan's first birthday I made them a train cake. So of course I had to make one for Tyson. I was really dreading it because it is so much work, but this time around it was a lot easier and it looked a lot better than the first two. When we gave him his own piece of cake he put his fingers in the frosting and licked them off a few times, then he figured out he could just pick up the whole piece and get a lot more. He ate the entire piece! I gave him some of the front part of the train with the black frosting on it(not really thinking about it)...not the smartest thing to do! After I washed his face and hair (because when he is done eating he rubs whatever is left on his hands in his hair:0) he skin was light purple! (And for the record this morning when I changed his diaper....black poop!)
We had both mine and Ryan's family over to celebrate with us! We have an amazing family that is always so supportive!:)
Opening presents!!! Granny and Grandpa Clarke gave him the rocking chair he is sitting in, it has his name on the back. Every year for the kids first birthdays she makes a rocking chair for them! He got a hand made wood truck with three different trailers that can hook to it from Grandpa and Grandma Evans, and the sucker he is holding in the bottom picture. He wanted to eat it right then! Aunt Tammy always gives the kids piggy banks and money. Then every birthday after that she gives them money (in coins) to put in their piggy banks. He got a book, a musical TV, little truck and trailer with a tractor on it, fruit snacks, a BIG BALLOON (thanks Uncle Bryon) and money! Ryan and I open our kids a bank account when they turn one so we can start saving for them. So thanks everyone we are going to put the money you gave him in his savings account!
So Uncle Bryon loves to find creative ways to wrap presents!!! They got a very BIG BALLOON and put LOTS of confetti in it with his birthday present. Bryon really wanted to just pop it right in the middle of the front room, but Ryan decided he was going to take it out to the front yard and poke a little hole in the top of the balloon and let the air out slowly. It didn't go quite as planned! He took it to the front door, not all the way outside, poked the hole in it and started to let the air out.....then it POPPED and the confetti went all over! Not outside, INSIDE!!! Bryon and Ryan both cleaned it all up! Thanks guys it was very entertaining to watch!!! And Bryon, Ryan is thinking really hard of a way to get you back!:)
