Tyson's 1st Haircut
Tyson got his hair cut yesterday at Aunt Tenille's salon! He wasn't too sure about it. He kept moving his head to see what Tenille was doing. He was moving around so much that Tenille almost cut her finger! Needless to say it was a very short haircut. Doesn't he look so cute! Tenille decided that he needed a mohawk!

Our Weekend

On Thursday we went to the park with my sister Tenille. We fed the ducks and played on the toys. All the kids love the monkey bars. Evan was so determined to get all the way across. He practiced again and again, until he finally made it across. I was so proud of him and he was quite proud of himself too!!!
On Friday we went to the Dinosaur Park with my sisters and my friend Sheila. Evan hates the mechanical dinosaurs that move and make noise. That is why he is covering his ears. Makayla loves them and Tyson didn't really care.
After the Dinosaur Park my sister Michelle invited us over to frost sugar cookies! The kids love Aunt Michelle and going to her house. It was a treat to go! Thanks Michelle the kids loved it!:)

On Saturday we went to the Discovery Gateway at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake with my sisters. It was so much fun!!! It was our first time there and there is a ton to do. I asked Makayla and Evan what there favorite part was. Makayla said that she loved to play in the kitchen! Evan said that he liked to play with all the toys, especially the police car! After we played there for a few hours we went to eat at Costa Vida and stopped at the Chocolate Factory for a carmel apple dipped in white chocolate and rolled in cinnamon and sugar!!! (Thank you Mom for getting us the tickets and Thank you Misty and Tenille for such a fun weekend!!!) Oh and our husbands are HUNTING!

WATER, WATER, WATER!!!!
AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so frustrated! Yesterday our power was out for most of the morning and I was really worried about the sump pump not being able to work. I checked under the crawl space and there wasn't any water around the bucket but I didn't have a flash light to look in the bucket and I wasn't about to go over there and stick my hand in the bucket in the dark! I didn't want a spider to get me!! So I figured that everything was under control. Well was I WRONG!!! Ryan went down to check the pump after dinner and there was water in the carpet again, in the extra bedroom and under the crawl space. So once again the carpet is pulled up and the fans are going.

The Treehouse
Makayla went to the Treehouse with her kindergarten class last Friday. This was her first time on the bus and she was so excited! I was able to go with her but had to drive separate. When it was time to come home she begged to ride the bus back to the school. I think she had just as much fun riding the bus as she did at the Treehouse. Thanks to my friend Kari for picking her up at the school and taking pictures for me(remember my camera is at the elk hunt), she was able to ride the bus home it made her day!

Waiting to get on the busThe Elk Hunt
Ryan goes elk hunting every year with his grandpa and dad. This year my brother-in-law Bryon went too. They go for 2 weekends in a row. I told Ryan to take the camera because I wanted pictures if they shot an elk. So he takes the camera and of course while he is gone there are a million things that I want to take pictures of. And here is what he took pictures of.
Our trailer and the snow they got on Sunday morning. (We got about 7 inches of snow here, so I was really worried they weren't going to make it off the mountain. And the kids had so much fun playing in the snow. But no pictures because it was with Ryan taking these wonderful pictures!)
Here is my oh so cute husband taking a amazing picture of himself. Love it hun!!! He said that it was foggy or something in the trailer hence the blurry picture.
And here is Bryon. Apparently he had quite the hole in his pants and Ryan's grandpa didn't like it so he got him some duct tape to try and fix the problem.
Say Hi!

WATER!!!
Ryan has been gone elk hunting and this last weekend it rained and rained and rained. I was so paranoid about our basement flooding again. So I kept listening for the sump pump to go off and checking the carpet. Well as I was listening to conference on Sunday and I had all 3 of my kids asleep, which was wonderful by the way, and Tyson started to wake up so I went upstairs to get him and the carpet in front of the stairs and the extra bedroom were WET!!! Ryan wasn't home yet so I called my dad and he came over to help me out. I was so frustrated!!! The worst part is, it wasn't even the sump pump. There wasn't enough water in the pump to make it go off. It came through the other side of the house. When Ryan got home he made the hole deeper for the sump pump so hopefully that will fix the problem. So now my house is all torn up once again!:(

7 Months Old
Tyson was 7 months old yesterday. Where is the time going? It's so fun to watch him grow and learn new things. His new favorite things are: the johnny jumper, his feet and toes (not new but still loves them), big people food (he loves to eat the gerber crackers and snacks, graham crackers, bananas, peaches, bread, pancakes, I have even started blending up what we eat for dinner for him and he loves it), he is really into making smacking sounds with his mouth and tongue. He tries to copy whatever I do with my mouth. He is still only sitting up. He hasn't started to crawl or scoot around yet. Which I'm not really looking forward for when he does. It's nice to just sit him on the floor with some toys and he stays right there! Tyson you are seriously the sweetest little baby ever. We love you so much!!!
