Evan had a preschool field trip to the Ogden Nature Center. Broc and Tyson did really good in the stroller, especially when we were walking around.

New Easter Outfits
Granny Clarke makes Makayla and Raygan Easter dresses every year. They get to go to the fabric store and pick out the pattern and the fabric. She loves it and the dresses are so cute! This year she took the boys shopping for suits. Evan looked so handsome and grown up in his suit. Tyson got a new church outfit too. He is so hard to get a picture of!
Easter Morning
Makayla and Evan hid a hard boiled Easter egg in the house for the Easter Bunny to find and take. They were so excited to see that the Easter Bunny found the eggs and took them! Makayla found the plastic wrapper that was on the egg she left, in the garbage can. (bottom left picture) The Easter Bunny left Makayla some clothes, new church sandals a white poodle webkinz, she named Hannah (after Hannah Montana) and some outside toys. He also left some stuff to make snow cones! Their favorite summer treat! The Easter Bunny also hid their baskets along with eggs full of candy. Makayla found her Easter basket in the downstairs shower. It was fun watching them find their baskets and collecting all the eggs!
Evan told us Saturday night that he was going to wake up when the Easter Bunny came so he could see the Easter Bunny! Easter morning he came in and said that he just didn't know when the Easter Bunny was coming so he didn't wake up! He is too funny! Evan has TONS of clothes so the Easter Bunny left Evan a new soft blanket. (Which he has been wanting for a long time.) A frog webkinz which he named Tad and outside toys. Evan found his Easter basket in the front room coat closet.
Tyson was so much fun to watch. He loved to pick up the eggs and shake them. He was loving the new sand toys. He was trying to rake the carpet with the hoe. He got a chimpanzee webkinz we helped him name him Chip. He loves to give the stuffed animals BIG hugs! I love it!!! He got a new pair of sandals and he had help finding his Easter basket under the kitchen table. We had a wonderful Easter! Spring Break!

Thursday of Spring break, Misty and I took our kids to the Hill Air Force Base Aerospace Museum. It's was raining and cold outside, but we had tons of fun inside! Tanner was able to come play with us too. Ryan had the day off too (because of the rain) so he came too. After the Aerospace Museum, we took all the kids to Wendy's for some lunch. They all are so good it wasn't even that crazy.
On Friday, my dad called Evan to come help him mow his lawn. My mom asked if Makayla wanted to come too. So she came and got Makayla and Evan and they helped do yard work at Grandpa and Grandma's house. I think Makayla even helped Cassie clean her room and bathroom! It's always more fun to clean someone elses house, right?! For lunch my dad cooked hot dogs over the fire. It's always fun to have hot dogs over the fire. Friday night we went over to Misty and Bryon's house for hamburgers. It's always so much fun to get together, and the food was yummy!

Conference
I loved the very last part of President Monson's talk in the Sunday morning session of General Conference. "Fear not. Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith." I am constantly fearing the future and what is to come! This quote just really hit home with me. I was able to watch all the sessions of conference this time and I LOVED every minute of it. It was like my soul just absorbed everything. My kids were so good and Tyson slept for just about every session. It was a miracle! (literally) I am so grateful for the gospel in my life! I know that Heavenly Father loves ME!
Clarke Easter Party
Last Sunday we had our Easter party with Clarke's. We had a yummy ham dinner and the traditional "Easter Egg Hunt", quality time with family, and of course some games on the Wii. Before the Easter egg hunt, Grandpa set them all down and went over the rules, they all had different doors they had to out of and the older kids couldn't get any of the eggs close to the house, they had to look farther out:) They had so much fun! After the Easter egg hunt, they all come in and dump out their eggs in a big pile. Then Grandpa helps empty all the eggs out. (These eggs have money inside!) Then the money gets split up evenly between all the grand kids. (top left side: splitting the money) The picture in the top right side is of Aunt Shawnee giving Tyson butterfly kisses. Tyson LOVED it! (bottom left side) Evan, William and Uncle Shane playing the Wii.Easter Cupcakes
Ryan and Bryon went to the Priesthood session together at our stake center. So, Misty came over and we made dinner and Misty brought everything over to make Easter cupcakes. We use to make them when we were little. It's a cupcake with frosting, green coconut, and jelly beans on top. It's fun to carry on traditions! Tyson didn't eat his cupcake, he just squished all over the place! (With the help of Grandpa, of course!)Sunday Dinner at My House
