Fun Family Time

Yesterday Ryan decided to wash the cars. The kids had so much fun playing in the soap bucket and the hose! Makayla and Evan actually helped and Tyson just got really WET!!! He loved to put his hands in the suds, he thought that was so cool! He eventually ended up dumping the bucket over and getting soaking wet!

Evan's Preschool Program

Evan just finished his 1st year of preschool!!:) He loved going to preschool and made lots of new friends! At their program they sang songs about the alphabet, the flag, the days of the week and a silly song! He also had a little part that he memorized to say at his program. I was really worried about him doing his part and singing in front of everyone, because he is just like that! He will not do anything in primary (like say talks, prayers, scriptures, primary program part!) He is just a little stinker like that. So we practiced his part and talked about what he was going to do, trying to get him ready for it. Well I don't think that any of that was necessary! He was quite the little clown!!! He was so silly! He did everything he was suppose to with a LOT of energy! We were all laughing so hard! I couldn't believe it!!! He did really good!:) Saying his part! "Appleseed is really as good as it gets. Our academy is the very best one yet."
You have to blow up the pictures to see it up close!

Grandpa Evans gave Evan 2 one dollar gold coins. The picture with the fist is him getting them from Grandpa Evans!

Father and Sons

This is the second year that Ryan and Evan went to the father and sons stake campout. Ryan invited his dad to go too. Evan talked about it for months! He would tell us that it's only for boys NO girls allowed! He was so excited to go!!!! They camped with some families from our ward, cooked steaks for dinner and sat around the campfire until it was past their bedtimes! Evan loved every minute of it! Maybe next year Tyson will be able to go too!:)

Evan's First T-Ball Game

Look at that grin! I think that tells it all!!! He was SO excited for his first T-Ball game! He wore his t-ball shirt to preschool so he could tell Teacher Misty that he had a game that night. And Teacher Misty came to his game too! He did such a good job and he loved every minute of it!
Running to home!

Lining up to bat.

Waiting for the ball to come to him.

Swim Day

The kids have been begging to go swimming for a while now, last Tuesday it was finally warm enough to get the pool out!

Tyson LOVED the water!!! He didn't even care that it was ice cold! He got a hold of the hose and drenched himself. It was so much fun to watch him experience the water!

There won't be any side watching for me this year! I am going to be right by his side. He has absolutely NO fear of the water at all!

Dance Pictures

Makayla had her dance pictures taken last Thursday. She loves to get all dressed up and to put make-up on! She loves to dance and is such a sweetie!

The BIG 30!!!

So I was having a really hard time admitting to myself that I was going to be 30! I have been dreading it for the last few months. But now that it's here it's not so bad. I mean honestly do you ever really feel older! I had a really fun birthday. On the my actual birthday Misty and I wanted to hang out, so we decided that we would go get lunch and let the kids play somewhere. We all squished in my van and off we went! We ended up going to Burger Bar and then back my my house to eat and let the kids play. On the way home Misty said I guess this is what we do when we each have 3 kids! (not much you can do with that many kids all together!) It was still really fun!!! That night Ryan's family came over to our house for cake and ice cream. It was a good day! That next Sunday we celebrated our birthday with my family. My mom always fixes us a special birthday dinner. This year we decided to have hamburgers and I made the cake. (only because I wanted a certain kind, so I just decided to make it) It was lots of fun! And to top it all off, Misty and I went shopping last Saturday! (ALL BY OURSELVES!) We had a GREAT time and got lots of cute new clothes!

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! My kids and Ryan woke me up to give me my presents. Makayla and Evan were SO excited! Evan made the cute little magnet in preschool and Makayla made me this plate in Kindergarten. I love them!!! Our day was really busy. JT was calling from Brazil at 1pm and our church starts at 1:00, and I had to do sharing time in Primary so I had to be there by 2:00. So we went to my mom and dad's had a lunch with my mom and family, talked to JT then left for church. After church we went to Ryan's mom and dad's to have dinner with Ryan's mom and family. We had a great time! It was so fun to talk to JT! I can't believe he only has 4 months left. CRAZY! I am so thankful for my sweet kids and that I get to be their mom! I love them so much! I am so thankful for my mom and EVERYTHING that she does for me! She is such an example to me.

Evan's Playing T-BALL!!!!

Evan just started playing T-ball and he LOVES it! He has never done ANYTHING! He is so scared to try new things. When he said he wanted to play T-Ball I was so nervous he wouldn't go out and actually play. We put him on the same team as his cousin Tanner so at least he would know someone and actually go out and play. The day of his first practice came and he went right out and stood right next to Tanner. He followed him around like a little puppy dog for the first few minutes then was fine! I was so proud of him! He has had another practice since then and went right out on the field. Tanner wasn't even there yet. He does so good and he LOVES it! At there last practice they got there shirts and hats. Evan slept with it on that night and wore it the next day!

Tyson Loves...

Just a little update on the life of little Tyson. He is now walking everywhere! He walks around with his hands above his head, I love it!!! He looks like a little monkey! Tyson loves to play with phones! I don't let him play with mine because, I can't lock the keys. But Grandpa Houghton lets him play with his phone and he LOVES it! He thinks he is so cool. (:
Grandpa Evans always has change in his pockets for his great-grandkids. He puts the money in his hand and the kids have to try and get it out of his fist. The kids love it!!! This was the first time Tyson did it. He loved it! Everytime he got a quarter he would head up to his room and put it in his bank. (Grandpa Evans made each of the kids little money banks.) Then he would come back down and beg for more. It was so cute!

Tyson LOVES to ride on the 4-wheelers!!! We have a little one for Tyson that doesn't go very fast, but he prefers Evan's big one that goes really fast! Little stinker! ( : He's really crazy on it just like his daddy and big brother. They learn fast!

Simpson Srings

Our first camping trip of the year! We went to Simpson Springs the weekend of May 1st with my mom and dad, Misty, Bryon and their kids, Michelle and Jared, my Aunt Tammy and Grandpa and Grandma Evan's. (Grandpa and Grandma Evan's went up on Wednesday and came home Saturday morning.) It rained off and on all weekend, but we were still able to go out and ride the 4-wheelers. Everything was really muddy, but we still had a really good time!!!

The kids LOVE the 4-wheelers!!! When it wasn't raining they were out riding. Sunday morning the girls and Jared took all the kids on a ride. It was the best ride all weekend and the nicest weather.

A "Twin Moment"

There Cute Silly Faces!
On Monday night Misty and I had a "twin moment"! I was getting the kids ready for bed and they had just had their baths. Makayla's hair was still damp from her bath and I thought I should braid her hair tonight so that in the morning it will be wavy and easy to do. So we did! Tuesday morning we went to Misty's house for Evan's preschool and Adyson's hair was exactly the same! (This was the first time that we had braided their hair wet the night before.) Misty did the exact same thing Monday night! AND we even styled it the same!!!! Kinda SCARY!!!:)
