Fun Time with the Family

On Groupons they have daily deals for lot of different places. One of them was for 2 games of bowling, shoe rental and a small drink for 4 people at Weber State Bowling Alley, for $15. So I bought it. It was so much fun. We had so much fun hanging out together. The kids thought it was the greatest thing ever.

Playing in the Snow

The kids LOVE to be outside! On one of Ryan's days off he built this snow fort with them. I didn't get a picture of the finished fort, but it was completely enclosed with a roof and a little door. It was pretty cool!

Happy Valentines!

Starting the Monday before Valentines, Ryan and I gave the kids a little treat with a note each morning. The kids loved it and looked forward to it each morning. On Valentines Day we made heart shaped pizza for dinner and at family home evening we went around and said something we loved about someone. It was a really good day! I love my family so much!!!

The Aerospace Museum

The kids were out of school, so Misty and I decided to take the kids to the aerospace museum in Roy. The kids LOVE it there!

Makayla's Baptism Day

Makayla was baptized on January 1, 2011. It was such a special day. We had lots of family and friends come and support Makayla in her decision to be baptized. She asked Grandma Houghton to give a talk about baptism and Aunt Misty to give a talk about the Holy Ghost. They both did a great job, I love the feeling at baptisms, the spirit is so strong. Makayla and her cousins sang "I am a Child of God". After the baptism we went to my mom and dads and had a lunch. It was a great day!

New Years Eve

On New Years Eve we had a little party at our house. We ate lots of food, played games, the wii, had a pinata (thanks to Vigil's) and at midnight we put on our party hats, blew the blow horn and set off some silly string (again thanks to Vigil's). We had lots of fun. Happy New Year!
