The Sand Dunes

Our neighbors Jake and Alicia invited us to go to the sand dunes with them this weekend. It was lots of fun! We don't have a 4-wheeler anymore. Ryan sold it at I think it was one of the happiest days of my life. That thing scared me so bad. Well maybe it wasn't so much the 4-wheeler but the rider. I really thought Ryan was going to kill himself on it. So when they invited us to go I was really scared. Ryan rode Jakes 4-wheeler with the kids and he was very careful. They had lot of fun. Thank Jake and Alicia for a fun weekend:)

Alicia did Makayla's hair just like hers! Makayla loves Alicia and tries to be just like her, she copies everything she does.
Evan is standing in our trailer door.
Playing in the sand. The kids thougjht it was great a HUGE sandbox!!!

Makayla, Ryan and Evan ready to go ridin!
Makayla riding with Jake's brother Kevin in his rhino. He was so nice to the kids and took them on quite of few rides.
Evan loves to take pictures! This was one of them. He did pretty good!

Happy Birthday Evan!!!

We celebrated Evan's birthday last Sunday with my dad and my nephew Auston. There birthdays are all within about a week of each other. My little bro JT's birthday is the day before Evan's but he is on a mission. We celebrated it early for him so we could send a package.

The birthday boys!!! My nephew Tanner is in the picture he didn't want to get left out.
Opening presents!:) He got some guns that shoot discs out. Lots of discs they are all over my house. (Thanks Tenille :)
Aunt Misty and Uncle Bryon gave him some cool flutes that you play with in the bathtub and some bubbles in Lightening McQueen. He loves them!!!!
Blowing out the candles. I made them a baseball diamond cake and some baseball cupcakes. They were pretty cute. The baseball diamond cake was carrot cake with no milk in it. Especially for Auston. (He's allergic to milk so I made on he could eat to. And it was really good.)
This was his party on his real birthday with Ryan's side of the family. I made him a football cake. Well a cake with a sad looking football on it. Ryan actually drew the football on it. It was cute Evan LOVED it, so that's all that matters, right? His Granny and Grandpa gave him a football helmet with a football jersey and a football. He is in heaven!!!! He is even sleeping in the jersey tonight. He also got some transformers! We gave him a baseball, bat and a mitt.
Grandpa was giving him his birthday spankings!Grandpa Evans is amazing at making things! We love all our furniture that he has made!! He made this amazing plane lamp for Evan that has a little touch pad that turns the light on and off. So cute!:)Grandpa was tackling Evan! ( I love this picture.)
Evan I really can't believe that you are already 4! You are such an active little guy. You love to play outside and ride your bike or scooter or 4-wheeler. You are amazing at sports. You can hit the ball with the bat better than I can. You love to play frisbee with Dad and you are good at it. You can through it right to him. You love to be wherever I am. You follow me around the house. You have always been like that, such a mommys boy. You use to cry whenever I left the room. Now you don't cry you just follow. I love you so much Evan! I am so glad you are part of our family:) Happy Birthday Ev!!!

Cleaning Our Teeth

My kids love going to the dentist to see Aunt Michelle! She is a dental hygenist and the kids think that it's so cool that she gets to clean there teeth. Makayla and Evan are really good at the dentist.

Swim Lessons

Makayla finished swim lessons last week. She loved it. She learned how to float on her back on front, and go under the water without plugging her nose. I think her favorite part was diving for the rings.

The Dinosaur Park

Ryan got home from work early so we decided to go the Dinosaur Park. I have a pass that gets us in for free. So it's fun to just go and do whatever the kids want to do because we can go anytime we want. Evan took this picture of Makayla while she was swinging.

Inside the Museum there are some dinosaurs that look real and move and make noise. Evan is a little scared of them. So he plugged his ears so he couldn't hear them.

Digging for dinosaur bones!

The Treehouse

Last Friday we went to the Treehouse with my sisters, Tenille and Misty. The kids had so much fun together. There favorite thing to do was put on a play for us to watch. They have great imaginations!!!

Makayla planting a garden.
Evan and Broc driving the fire truck.

I love this picture of Tyson! He saw me taking pictures and started grabbing at the camera and smiling. It was so cute. He was totally cheesing it!!!

Solid Foods!

Tyson has just discovered that he likes solid foods. I have been trying to give him solids for the past couple of weeks and he wasn't quite sure of them. Yesterday we bought some baby banana food and he loved it. He ate the whole jar. Then at dinner he opened his mouth for some of my food. So I got out some sweet potatoes and he ate them right up and loved every bite! It's so fun to watch him discover new things.
