Our Snowman Jack Frost

Makayla and Evan were begging Ryan to go outside and build a snowman with them. So they go outside and Ryan starts to roll the snow into a ball, he looks at me through the window and says that the snow is too powdery and it won't work. The next thing I see is Makayla starting to roll a snowball and it works! She and Evan made the snowballs for their snowman. I guess you have to be a kid to make the snow roll into a snowball! The kids were so excited. Makayla said that they named the snow man Jack Frost (after the movie "Jack Frost") and Evan didn't want to put a hat on his head because he didn't want him to come alive!

11 Months Old

Tyson is now 11 months old, next month is his birthday!!! I can't believe it! He is still really fiesty and can give a really good mean look! This month he has mastered the stairs. He can go up and down by himself. (He loves to play on the stairs.) I am still right behind him, because he does fall sometimes. He really enjoys to pull everything out of the diaper bag, it keeps him busy for a few minutes! The dark picture is of Tyson looking out the front window at Makayla and Evan playing in the snow. He loves to pull himself up to everything and walks along whatever he is holding on to. Makayla and Evan were both walking at 11 months. Tyson just really doesn't seem to care. I feel like he just mastered crawling. He'll get it when he's ready! We love you Tys even if you are a fiesty little stinker!!!

Girls Day Out!!!

Each month since JT has been gone we try and get together with Jessika, my mom and sisters and do something. Last Saturday we went out to lunch at Golden Dynasty and then went to see "New in Town" It was SO cute!!! I laughed so hard, it was just a really good movie! And it is always so much fun to be with my family!

Evan's Preschool Field Trip

In January Evan's preschool class went to Lee's Market in North Ogden. They have so much fun! The guy that gives the tour is so silly with the kids and the kids love it! They get to tour the entire grocery store and also the back storage part. When they were done touring they got to play "cashier". Evan was scared to do it, but not Makayla she isn't scared to do anything and it wasn't even her class. Tyson and Broc were so cute in the stroller and really good as long as they were eating Goldfish.

Venting!

I have been horrible at updating lately! This post is going to be just venting, sorry. Tyson has been so ornery lately. He screams the worst high pitched scream when he wants something, or when he is mad or I guess whenever he feels like it! And he cries ALL the time. It's honestly driving me crazy! He has been giving the meanest looks EVER! He squishes his eyebrows together, puts his head down puckers his lips out and looks up just with his eyes. It is so mean looking! I know that he is teething, because he is drooling like mad and has diarrhea, so I assumed that all of the crankiness was from the teeth. Well last night he didn't sleep good at all. So I decided to just take him to the doctor to see if he had a ear infection. (Hoping for an ear infection at least I could give him the antibiotic and he will be happy!) Well, it turns out that his left ear is infected and his right ear has fluid in it! I am so glad that I took him in!!! I am hoping that the antibiotic will take the crankiness out of him and he will be my sweet little Tyson again!

OK I said this is venting so I am going to keep going!

EVAN! I have really been struggling with him too! He does exactly what I ask him NOT to do! And when I tell him to stop he just looks at me and smiles. What have I done wrong! He really is a good kid. It's just been the past couple weeks it's gotten really bad. Hopefully it's just a phase that he is going through. Maybe he is still having trouble adjusting to Tyson. (He had a really hard time with that.) I am hoping that with having a happy baby EVERYONE will be happier!

10 Months Old

Tyson was 10 months old on January 1st. Every month I say that I really can't believe that he is growing so fast, but I honestly can't! He is starting to crawl more than scoot on his bum. I think he figured out that he can go a lot faster crawling, and he is a lot faster!!! He can also pull himself up to just about anything and just stand there. He still has to hold on but he thinks he is big stuff! He is a good little story teller!:) He will just babble and point like he really knows what he's talking about. I LOVE it!!! He is also getting to be feisty! When he is done eating what ever it is I'm feeding him he will hit the spoon out of my hand and make a mean little face. (His lips puckered and VERY serious eyes!) And the food on the spoon goes everywhere!!! He loves it when Makayla is being silly, he laughs and laughs and laughs!!!! Tyson you are so much fun! We love you SOOOO much!!!

New Years Eve

We had a little party at our house this year. It was really fun. We had pizza and snacks and played games. We ended the year at 10:00. Misty brought some noise makers and the kids went out side and ran around and screamed in the new year!!! Every year right around New Year's we go to Hardwear Ranch with my family. And on the way home we always stop and eat out somewhere. (I don't have any pictures because my camera battery was charging.)
